Spetses,  Greece

Spetses is situated 64 nautical miles from Athens. Spetses is the most enchanting of the Saronic Gulf Islands. The island is only 3 miles wide and 5 miles long.
Spetses has one town around two harbor areas, the town of "Spetses" and the rest of the island is covered by the beautifully scented pine trees and bordered by secluded coves and beaches, lapped by crystal clear seas coaxing you to come in.

The weather is mild for the most part of the year, but it can get hot in the summer months. In the winter months and occasionally in the fall there will be some rainfall, but it doesn't last long.

There are several options available to get to the island:
By car, by hydrofoil and by ferry-boat. By car, from Athens the journey is approximately three hours to Kosta and then a short five-minute water taxi trip across to Spetses.

By hydrofoil, from Piraeus Ports taking approximately two hours. Hydrofoils depart from the main port of "Piraeus" and "Zea" almost every one-hour.
The final option is by ferry, departing from the main port of "Piraeus" daily at 08:00 in the morning.
