Kiotari
Location of Kiotari:On
east coast of the island, 2 miles south of Lardos and same distance
north of Gennadi. 44 miles southwest of Rhodes airport.
Kiotari is a popular holiday resort area with large hotel
complexes, apartments and villas, 7 kms from Lardos village, 14 kms
from Lindos and 65 kms south of Rhodos Town
Kiotari itself is a very quiet fishing village with one
supermarket and a few restaurants. The main tourist area, consisting
of three main hotel complexes, a small shopping centre and a few
supermarkets and tavernas, is situated about 30 minutes walk along the
beach road. Close to the hotels on the mainly shingle beach is a
watersports centre. The rest of this beautiful island can be reached
by the inexpensive local buses.
